Divestment of the City of Munich

Climate change is threatening man and nature, here in Germany - and worldwide. We must stop burning fossil fuels and destroying our environment.
In December 2019, the Munich City Council declared a climate emergency, thus acknowledging that we are in the middle of the climate crisis and we must act now.
We therefore call on the city of Munich to stop investing in fossil fuels.

1. Any new investment in gas, oil and coal must be discarded.
2. The entire capital currently invested in gas, oil and coal companies must be divested as soon as possible, and in any case not later than in 5 years.
We are actively discussing with the Munich City Council, the City Treasurer's Office and the climate justice movement in Munich. Together, we want to make climate-friendly all the investments of the City of Munich.
