We think that is it wrong to benefit financially from the climate crisis and to invest money in fossil fuels. It must be said that churches are starting to be careful in the way they invest their money, choosing the most ethical and sustainable opportunities But unfortunately, very few of them are openly talking about it.

Climate change is threatening man and nature, here in Germany - and worldwide. We must stop burning fossil fuels and destroying our environment. In December 2019, the Munich City Council declared a climate emergency, thus acknowledging that we are in the middle of the climate crisis and we must act now.
We therefore call on the city of Munich to stop investing in fossil fuels

The Munich-North 2 Heating Coal Power Plant (HKW) represents the largest CO2 emission source of the City of Munich. It still produces electricity and heat from hard coal, causing massive damage to the climate and our future. Therefore, we demand that it is shut down as quickly as possible.
Munich must act !
